I miss this place so much... would love to visit my friend just to eat their again! The chole-batura just takes me back to delicious north-Indian food. This place is full of delicious north-Indian food that is simply authentic.

The best tasting chicken and potato samosas I have ever had in Calgary.
We order at least 20 to 30 samosas as we drive all the way from the deep south just to buy from them. It takes us about 45 minutes to drive down to their location, but it is all worth it!
Their samosas are nice and juicy on the inside, crispy and flaky on the outside! I also like that the samosas are freshly made when you order. Their chutney is the perfect combination of sweet and sticky, it's quite addicting.
Punjabi Sweet House offers more than just samosas, they have different sweets that I have seen people line up for. I haven't tried them myself as I am still trying to get over my craving of their samosas - and still no luck!
Can't wait to come back soon and order some more tasty samosas! -

Absolutely. Terrible. Service. Complete loss of ethics and poor management. Called restaurant at 8:30 pm. When asked their closing time, 10pm was stated. When asked their last-order time, 8:30 pm was stated. Keep in mind this call was in English. A different family member called not less than 5 minutes later and spoke in Hindi. Last-order time was then stated 9 pm. When we arrived at the restaurant at 8:50 pm, we were told that it was not possible to dine as they were beginning to clean up. Travelled an extra 30 minutes for beyond poor service and no food. Extremely disappointed, truly a shame to the name of indian restaurants.

Samosa here is the best. Gulab Jamon is my all-time favorite Indian sweets and I come here whenever I crave.
